Today i was research some of my important terms that i can use for my topic. But on the other hand i still need more information for this project being that this is a big topic i am going to have break it down and find important terms . I guess i am going to continue to keep looking for more terms. I NEED HELP!!

Understand The Word Sexual Predators

Its been two weeks now and i have finally found information about the topic of my interest i have been suffering the web to find different articles and websites that will be helpful to me. When dealing the word Sexual Predator you have a big topic and in order to find what you are looking for you will have to break the topic down into one category like i did. I would like to focus on Internet Sexual Predator but something else is pulling me towards doing local Sexual Predators around neighborhoods. But many people ask me why this topic and its because i just want to find out why people do theses things and what do they get out of them. But many people have to think that when punishing these jail is not always the answer because they come back doing these same acts. I would like some help on working with this issues because i would like this madness to stop!!

The First Blog

Becoming a senior can be an exciting moment in your life and it also can be dreadful. In this case I will be using the term dreadful being that’s what most senior say that when you ask them about graduation project. Graduation project is a big part of exiting high school there are many requirements that you have to meet. Many 12th graders told me that once you have this class you have to motivate yourself and pick a topic that interests you. One of the 12th grade females told me that when she first entered graduation project she didn’t know what to expect so she had the same attitude that she had for all her other classes she began to act up distract others learning as well as hers. She didn’t really care about picking a topic because she didn’t care about the class until the middle of the trimester she began to do her work. She said that you have to focus in the beginning and try to comply yourself and do all your work sometimes it might get frustrating but if you work and keep a positive attitude then you will do just find. One of my main interests is Internet sexual predators being that I watch the TV shows and want to just find about how and people do these acts.

Terms

• Amber Alert- Is a child abduction alert bulletin in the United States and Canada, as well as other countries, issued upon the suspected abduction of a child
Blocking software- Computer program that prevents access to certain websites identifiable by the keywords in their content or by their internet address
Chartroom - An interactive forum where you can talk in real-time. The chartroom is the place or location online where the chat is taking place. Many chartrooms are established so that people can discuss a common interest like music or movies. For example Webster likes to go to the "Browser Ball" chartroom so that he can talk about his favorite game.
Cyber bullying - sending or posting harmful or cruel text or images using the internet or other digital communication devices.
Cyber stalking/Harassment - Terms that can refer to the online enticement of children; rude or threatening messages; slanderous information; or repeated, unwanted messages. Watch "Angela's Experience" or read articles on this topic.
Cyberspace - Refers to all the computer networks on the internet. The term distinguishes the physical world from the virtual or computer-based world.
E-Mail (electronic mail) - A service that allows people to send messages with pictures and sounds from their computer to any other computer in the world. To send someone an e-mail message you need an e-mail account and to know the other person's e-mail address.
Instant Messaging (IM) - A service that allows people to send and get messages almost instantly. To send messages using Instant Messaging you need to download an Instant-Messaging program and know the Instant-Messaging address of another person who uses the same Instant-Messaging program. Internet Relay Chat (IRC) - A system that enables people online to join in live discussions, allowing people to engage in real-time chat. IRC is like a CB radio for the internet. Internet Relay Chat is a virtual meeting place where people from all over the world can meet and talk.
Internet - A network of millions of computers from all over the world. The internet allows computers to trade information using telephone lines, fiber-optic cables, and satellite links. It is also referred to as the "Net."
Solicitations were defined as- Requests to engage in sexual activities or sexual talk, or to give personal sexual information
Temporary internet Files - A folder on your computer that will tell you every site that your child has visited, unless they have learned to delete these files. Every time you open a web page, your computer saves a copy of that site's files and graphics in your "temporary internet files" folder. The amount of files can build up and make your computer run slow. You may want to periodically review this folder and delete the files.
Transmission Control Protocol/internet Protocol (TCP/IP) - The protocols or conventions that computers use to communicate over the internet.
Trusted Adult - Someone who will help protect you and make you safer. Trusted adults can be people like family members, caregivers, family friends, teachers, counselors, coaches, clergy members, youth leaders, and law-enforcement officers.
Web Site - A collection of "pages" or files linked together and available on the World Wide Web.
Web-Based Chat - A form of communication where users can have real-time conversations with other users conducted through an ISP. Chat can take place in a chatroom, Instant-Messaging program, or on IRC channels.
Webmaster - The person responsible for administering a web site.
Whitelisting - A form of filtering that only allows connections to a preapproved list of sites that are considered useful and appropriate for children.
World Wide Web - An infinite number of games, web sites, pictures, sounds, stories, and other things all connected to each other through links on the internet. You can "surf" the web through your browser and find information about virtually anything. The web is just one service on the internet. Other services on the internet include internet relay chat, newsgroups, and e-mail.
• Megan Law- Is designed to provide information and notification to communities when a potentially dangerous sex offender moves into the neighborhood. The nature of the notification varies significantly from state to state, and even sometimes from community to community within a state
• Missing- A young person under the age of 18 years) is to be considered "missing" if he/she is absent from his/her place of residence without authority to a degree or in circumstances where the absence causes concern for safety of the child or there is potential danger to the public.
• Sex Crime - Someone who commits one is said to be a sex offender. Some sex crimes are crimes of violence that involve sex.
• Sexual molestation- Is the sexual exploitation of a child or a woman by an adult for sexual gratification or for profit.
• Sexual Offender- Is a person who has been criminally charged and convicted of, or has pled "guilty" or to, a sex crime.
• Sexual Predators- Is often used to refer to a person who habitually seeks out sexual situations that are deemed exploitative.
• Social Networking Sites- Is the practice of expanding the number of one's business and/or social contacts by making connections through individuals
